As part of the World Hearing Day 2025 celebrations, SHEF organized a specialized program focused on parental counseling and children/newborn hearing screenings on March 4th at Giginyu PHC. This initiative aimed to promote early detection of hearing issues in children and educate parents on how to care for their child’s hearing health.
The event aligned with the 2025 global theme, “Changing Mindsets: Empower Yourself to Make Ear and Hearing Care a Reality for All,” reinforcing the importance of early intervention, awareness, and preventive measures in addressing childhood hearing loss.
