On March 3rd, 2025, the Suleiman Hearing and Educational Foundation (SHEF) celebrated World Hearing Day at Tofa and Giginyu Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) in Kano State. The event aimed to raise awareness about hearing health, provide free screenings, and educate the community on preventing hearing loss.
The celebration aligned with this year’s global theme, “Changing Mindsets: Empower Yourself to Make Ear and Hearing Care a Reality for All”, emphasizing the importance of early detection, intervention, and community-driven solutions to hearing health challenges.
